Your country is beautiful and offers an abundance of culture, spirituality, history and adventure. From someone that has traveled to Europe, Asia and South America, it is by far the most fascinating country I have yet to visit. From the perspective of two westerners, it is so clear to us that we only started to scratch the surface of your country and have so much more to learn. ............

........All the airport pick-ups and deliveries were made on time and the vans were in excellent condition. We especially appreciated your taking our luggage back to Delhi from Jodhpur. The hotels were very good, but two were spectacular...the Amar Villas and Devi Garh Palace. But I am sure you know that already. We will certainly recommend you to all our friends. ........The selection of hotels was incredible, I've visited lots of resorts and hotels in many countries but the Udaivilas in Udaipur just really rocked. We really enjoyed the great service; food, spa and atmosphere, the surroundings and views were marvelous. Also the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur was excellent, we loved everything about it. Congratulations and keep on the good work, i will certainly recommend to any of our friends to contact Compass Tours when they will travel to India. Your attention to detail is 1st class. Very hard to find these days..........



........A very professional team of staff and you all are to be commended for this. We all like to thank Naka, you Durjay and your other staff Varanasi, and Bombay. Yes we are already recommending our friends and family from Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand etc. We will definitely use you guys for all our future travels to India. ...........



........Our chauffeur was fantastic, we felt very comfortable in the car with him. He drove very safely and made sure that every time we were finished with a visit or dinner... he was there picking us up. We never had to wait for him or try to get his attention. We also appreciated Bhawani's help and service...........



........One of the things we really liked was that pricing and costs were very clear. When any Indian travel agency books a hotel, tour, etc. they generally get a discount of 10% or more. Durjay explained to us that he charges the price we would have gotten (undiscounted) but then adds in extras. For example, we had a day in Delhi with driver and guide at no cost. This was a nice change from some other agents we talked with that had a la carte pricing but you could never be sure exactly what the total would be............



........The Pushkar Fair was wonderful. We enjoyed the village safari at Jodhpur. We felt that the Village Theme Restaurant at Jaipur could have been left out, as we had seen most of what was on show earlier on our tour. Also, the meal provided at the Village was not a tasty delight at all. All in all, it was a wonderful holiday with enormous variety. We consider that it would have been difficult to improve on it. Our guide and driver, Bhawani and Rajesh were very attentive, constantly looking after our every need. We had great fun with them and they seemed to understand our sense of humour. We really enjoyed our days/evenings with them............



........Thank you also for the farewell dinner; it was great to see you again before we left for home. And finally, thanks for the cookery book. I've tried one or two recipes - I have to tell you that the top chef in India is safe in his job for the time being............



.......Most of the accommodation was more than adequate except for a fewnote-worthy exceptions. The hotel in Agra was unpleasant as they could not get the hot water sorted out and the service was less than satisfactory. We also had some water problems in Udaipur. The hotels where the service and room was outstanding was Phool Mahal in Kishangar and Palanpur in Mt. Abu. ..............



.......We had a fantastic time on our trip to India. Much of this was attributable to the organisation and planning arranged by Compass India. We really appreciate the time and effort put in by yourself to accomodate our varying requirements and ensure that our stay was comfortable and free from worry..............



.......We fell in love with Khajuraho, a beautiful village, spectacular temples, clean air, great food and wonderful service. Once retired it would be a pleasant place to live for part of the year have always been an admirer of Moghul architecture and India has some of the best. The spectacular forts of Amber and Gwailor, Fatepur Sikri , and of course the Taj Mahal are awe inspiring. Being very interested in the Hindu way of life and Buddism i was so pleased to have gone to Varanasi and Sarnath , both were very meaningful...............



.......Bikaner: We absolutely loved the hotel (Basant Vihar). The rooms have a personal touch and the service is very good. They had some problems with hot water, but later it was fixed. The manager/owner is very attentive and you can feel the difference this makes..............
