Dear Durjay

I hope that you and the familty are well and that the new year is being good to you. We are obviously back in SA and getting back into the swing of things at work.

I know that you will appreciate feed-back on our tour and while all is fresh in my mind let me share a few thoughts. The way we toured was ideal for our circumstances. I wanted no uncertainty with regard to travel and accommodation especially with my mum with me. More-over, I appreciated greatly the fact the you and your agents were not rigid and we were allowed freedom to pursue our own interests. I also appreciated the personal touch and our amicable interaction making it easier for me to rest assured that we were in good hands in a foreign land.

Most of the accommodation was more than adequate except for a few note-worthy exceptions. The hotel in Agra was unpleasant as they could not get the hot water sorted out and the service was less than satisfactory. We also had some water problems in Udaipur. The hotels where the service and room was outstanding was Phool Mahal in Kishangar and Palanpur in Mt. Abu.

The overnight train journey would have been more comfortable in a two tier AC couch for the four of us.

Finally, I would have appreciated maps of the citys and towns that we were visiting in advance so that I got a feel for where we were.

At the end of it all, we all had a fantastic time in India and would sincerely like to thank you for your help in making our trip a most memorable one.
